Welcome!

I am so happy you’re here. I am an experienced writer in design, creative tech, commerce, the arts, and pop culture. I work for arts-based immigration-law firms with a focus on architects, landscape designers, creative technologists, animators, and fashion/costume designers. I am the co-author of Italian Disco Stories, a cult-favorite Substack publication with a focus on Italian, Italo and Euro Disco. Lately, I have been having a lot of fun talking about how one game, one subculture, and even one fringe aesthetic reached the mainstream: consider my Fast Company features “Why Disco Is Having A Moment” “2024 Was The Year of the Chad” and, most recently, “Sul sul! How The Sims influenced a generation of creatives”. I have also been analyzing the branding and design systems of contemporary brands at BP&O
